Gabriele Carrera (2001, Desio, Italy) is an artist based between Milan and Mombello. His practice revolves around the image, with drawing as its primary medium, expanding into installation and spatial interventions.
His work develops mainly through the repeated translation of images across analogue and digital media. Rather than preserving the original, these processes gradually consume the image, producing loss, displacement, and material residues. Carrera approaches this erosion as a generative space, where new meanings emerge through the image’s continuous reconfiguration.
