The transformative media works of the Italian artist Valerio Nicolai are defined by their contextual experience. Working with different characters, stories, objects and moods, Nicolai creates visual narratives of clay, taxidermy and live birds, and thick oil on canvas… Nicolai continually explores the limits of pictorial space, extending its facilities to wrap the surrounding space in fields of colors, shapes and structures.
