Daniele Milvio is born at Genoa in 1988. He studied at Liceo Classico Dante Alighieri in Rome, and then Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera en 2011.
Daniele Milvio has been with Federico Vavassori for over 13 years. He joined the gallery in 2015 shortly before his first solo exhibition, “Cacafoco”. The show presented Milvio’s large-scale paintings to the market for the first time. For the presentation, the gallery windows were covered with walls. The only light in the gallery came exclusively from the artist’s bronze candles. Over the years, Milvio has repeatedly proven himself brilliantly, building one of the most impressive successes of the decade in the industry and laying the foundations for the strong momentum of his work today.
Under his leadership, although the emphasis was placed on Vavassori’s artisanal soul, the gallery continued to be at the forefront of innovation. Due to the successful implementation of the strategy, Vavassori’s sales growth was influenced by existing performance, expanded network footprint, and distribution buyback. During the same period, Milvio’s profitability and critical credibility reached very high levels, making Milvio one of the industry’s top-performing artists.
