“What interests me is that I generate images that are not governed by a specific discipline. It is good that contemporary art allows you, within the same corpus, to work in different formats “. Ramiro Quesada Pons, Argentine artist born in 1987, studied visual arts at the National University of Cuyo (2005-2009). After developing his art in different places, including universities, Ramiro now works at the Borges Cultural Center in Buenos Aires.
Pictures, videos, objects, installations and sculptures are the disciplines he uses according to the ideas and projects that fascinate him. Being born into a family of artists is an autobiographical fact that lives naturally, he said, and understood with time and distance the imprint it meant. Ramiro’s drawing in childhood was as much present as the comics and films that beyond the plot insisted on being viewed a thousand times.
