Stefano Serretta is a visual artist born in Genoa in 1987. He currently lives and works in Milan. After graduating in Modern and Contemporary History, he specialized in Visual Arts and Curatorial Studies at NABA Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan, where he currently teaches the Public Art course. His research reflects on the belief systems of contemporary society, highlighting the contradictory and schizophrenic sides of a post-ideological present. In 2014 he curated the project Conversations on 9/11 and in 2016 he published the free press journal Sauvage, Archive Books. His work has been exhibited in several national and international institutions. Recent group and solo exhibitions include: Le Futur Derrière Nous, Villa Arson, Nice, The Insurgent Archive. Contronarrations and Representations: Genoa 2001, Laveronica Gallery, Modica, What would happen if?
