The 2017 intervention is intimately linked to the landscape, a place of contemplation of the various elements of the Port Tonic environment: the wind, the horizon, the light, etc., an invitation to live a space experience that highlights our meaning. Delicately arranged on the dock of Port Tonic, the installation comes to inhabit the space between buildings: a deck is deformed to create a seat under a volume vibrating in the wind.
The project is set up between the workshop and the main building in order to bring visitors closer to the sea. The installation is thus discovered by accessing the dock and seems to frame the horizon. On the ground, the deck delineates a square whose sides measure 8 meters, a multiple of 1.60m corresponding to an average eye height, height of the horizon line.
Then, 5 vertical modules also delimit a square of 8 meters above a seat. Filled with long white fabrics, the volume then becomes a kind of unstable shadows that wavers with the wind. This place of relaxation invites the visitor to become aware of the environment revealed by the installation.
