“I am creating works that investigate the narrative of supression, resistance and resilience, while taking cues from the topography of the Les Ambres that are filled with interesting terrain and landscape mixed with the imagined location of folkloric elements that is of Ritmo Garote.

My works are an amalgamation of different influences which create a jarring contrast of different sensibilities that stack layers of pensive and otherworldly images.

The tranquility of the place mixed with ideas of longing and reconnection in contrast with the ideas of resistance, suppression and transgression are all part of the mixture.

All of these ideas are pushing and pulling, creating an interesting tension.”
